As we enter the holiday season, many of us are blessed with caring families who are able to fully enjoy the holidays. Unfortunately, not all are experiencing the same blessings. There are an estimated 15 million children living in poverty within the United States. Broward Children’s Center held their 14th Annual Miles for Smiles Walk & Festival on November 4, 2017. The event’s goal is to raise funds for the medical, educational, recreational, and therapeutic services provided by Broward Children’s Center, which serves children with disabilities.
